The Shopify Integration app connects a Shopify store to ERPNext. Once it's set up, orders placed on Shopify turn into Sales Orders in ERPNext automatically, and you can bring your Shopify product catalog into ERPNext - or push ERPNext items out to Shopify - without re-entering anything by hand. Stock levels can be kept in sync in both directions.

What the integration handles

• Orders - every order placed on Shopify is delivered to ERPNext over a webhook and created as a Sales Order.
• Invoicing and dispatch - Based on the integration configuration, ERPNext can automatically create a Sales Invoice when a Shopify order is marked as paid, and a Delivery Note when the order is fulfilled.
• Products - pull your Shopify catalog into ERPNext as Items, or upload ERPNext Items to Shopify (including variants).
• Inventory - push ERPNext stock levels back to Shopify so your storefront always reflects real availability.
• Cancellations - a cancelled Shopify order is reflected in ERPNext, keeping the two in agreement.

Before you start

You will need administrator access to both your Shopify store and your ERPNext site. The integration is configured primarily from the Shopify Setting page in ERPNext, with a short visit to the Shopify Admin to generate the credentials required by ERPNext.

Work through the guide in order:

1. Create a custom app in Shopify to obtain the access token and API secret.
2. Connect your Shopify store to ERPNext by configuring the generated API credentials in Shopify Setting.
3. Set your defaults, then configure order sync, taxes, products and inventory.

Prerequisites

• The Ecommerce Core app must be installed before installing the Shopify Integration app on your ERPNext site.
• Your ERPNext site must be reachable from the public internet over HTTPS so Shopify's webhooks can reach it.
• A Company, Customer Group, Cost Center, Cash/Bank Account, and Warehouse should already exist in ERPNext - these are referenced when documents are created from Shopify.
